“This is the work of God:
to believe in the one whom he has sent.”

³⁰They asked him further, “What sign can you give us that we can see and come to believe in you? What work will you do? ³¹Our ancestors ate manna in the desert. As it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven^[a] to eat.’ ”
